Art is Alive offers private arts therapy sessions for NDIS participants.
This is a mobile service, so this can look like meeting at a local park and putting down a picnic rug, visiting you at your home, or any alternative location where you feel safe and comfortable. I work with a trauma-informed approach and will always prioritise your needs as the client.
The benefits of arts therapy can include:
Improved emotional regulation
Mindfulness
Self-esteem
Self-awareness
Enhanced mind, body, spirit connection
Enhanced creativity
Reduced stress, anxiety and depression

I should mention here thats arts therapy is an established, evidence-based form of psychotherapy and can be a very powerful way of working towards healing for individuals who have experienced trauma. I have experience in working with children, young people and adults experiencing issues related to sexual abuse, family and domestic violence and other forms of trauma. However, I am not currently working in the trauma-recovery space. If you are seeking therapy specifically for deep trauma recovery, then please reach out to me as I can help direct you to others arts therapists working in this space in Perth who will be best equipped to support you on your brave healing journey.
